39th Annual MidWinter Family Medicine Update
February 6 – 11, 2015 | Boyne Highlands

The 39th Annual MidWinter Family Medicine Update—held at Boyne Highlands Resort in beautiful Harbor Springs, Michigan—will once again provide an exciting week of stimulating medical education and winter recreation for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others with family-centered practices. Learn from expert speakers representing a variety of medical backgrounds offering you new perspectives and obtain updated information focused on the evidence that matters most to you and your patients. The objective of the MidWinter Family Medicine Update is to assist you in implementing new ideas and approaches into your own patient care within the first few days of your return to practice.

The course has traditionally run Monday through Friday; however, this year we are scheduled to start with a bonus CME session in the evening on Friday, February 6, and conclude in the morning on Wednesday, February 11. As an additional value-add, we’ve also scheduled a Self-Assessment Module (SAM) Group Study Workshop to take place following the conclusion of the regularly scheduled programming on Wednesday afternoon to aid physicians with their American Board of Family Medicine Maintenance of Certification requirements.

With the additional CME sessions and the SAM, you have the ability to earn up to 27.5 CME credits at the course plus 12 more should you complete the full SAM, including the clinical simulation. That’s 39.5 credits in one week! Sessions will take place in morning and afternoon leaving you plenty of time to hit the slopes or explore the other activities the area has to offer.
